Building new homes for Medway residents

Work is underway to build six new bungalows in Twydall as part of a £1million housing project.

Medway Council is building six one bed bungalows in Petham Green.

The new homes will complement the existing council owned houses in the area and create a square around Petham Green, with a greenspace in the middle of the properties to create a community atmosphere.

The bungalows are being created with older residents and people with mobility problems in mind and will be for social rent. The homes are suitable for council tenants looking to downsize.

It is anticipated that works will be complete and tenants will be able to move into the bungalows in Autumn 2019.
